Preliminary Medical, Certificate of Aeromedical Fitness Class 2 in accordance with JAR guidelines
You will need to pass a Preliminary Medical, Certificate of Aeromedical Fitness Class 2 in accordance with JAA guidelines if you are seeking a Private Pilot Licence.
We offer the following medicals at the Aeromedical Center Austrian:
- In-depth physical examination (status)
- Optical examination (wearers of glasses and/or contact lenses need a prescription for glasses from the optician)
- Electrocardiogram or ECG
- Pulmonary function (Peak Expiratory Flow)
- Optical examination
- Ear, nose and throat examination with IFR audiometry
- Laboratory
- Other medicals as indicated
